Jerlyn Componion serves as a Healthcare Assistant for both Recovery Care of Columbia and Nashville Addiction Clinic, where she supports administrative operations and data management that help ensure patients receive timely, organized, and efficient care. With experience in healthcare administration and data entry, Jerlyn plays an important role in maintaining accurate records and supporting the daily workflows that contribute to positive patient experiences.
Jerlyn earned her Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Carlos Hilado Memorial State University, where she developed a strong understanding of human behavior, mental health, and the factors that influence personal growth and well-being. She is also a Certified Human Resource Associate (CHRA), bringing additional organizational and administrative expertise to her role.
Her interest in psychology and healthcare stems from a desire to better understand people and support them through life’s challenges. Jerlyn was particularly drawn to addiction treatment because it provides an opportunity to help individuals overcome substance use disorders, rebuild their lives, and work toward lasting recovery.
Jerlyn’s approach is rooted in compassion, evidence-based practices, and patient-centered care. She believes that every individual deserves to be treated with dignity and respect, and she strives to foster a supportive, nonjudgmental environment where patients feel empowered to pursue meaningful change and personal growth.
At Recovery Care of Columbia and Nashville Addiction Clinic, Jerlyn combines her attention to detail, organizational skills, and passion for helping others to support high-quality addiction treatment services and efficient clinic operations.
Outside of work, Jerlyn enjoys playing guitar, singing, playing badminton, and participating in church ministries. These activities allow her to stay connected to her faith, community, and personal interests while maintaining a balanced lifestyle.
