An Online Suboxone Clinic for All of Tennessee

Recovery Care of Columbia is not your typical Suboxone clinic. Not only do we hold a Tennessee state medical license for addiction treatment, we are one of few TennCare BeSmart / B-Mat-certified clinics in the State of Tennessee. We accept all TennCare insurance and many commercial insurance plans.

TennCare Medicaid Insurance Suboxone Treatment

Commercial Insurance Suboxone Treatment

Self-Pay Suboxone Treatment

Recovery Care provides a monthly Suboxone program that can be paid for in two different ways. You can pay every 4 weeks and save $50, or pay bi-weekly.

  • 4 Weeks of Suboxone Telemedicine Treatment $370
  • Biweekly Payment Plan $210

More Insurance Companies are Being Added

Our list of insurance companies is ever-growing, so please call or text us at (931) 548-3062 if you don’t see your insurance plan listed above. Sometimes, there are off-chutes of major carriers that aren’t listed, but may be accepted.

Our special designation as a TennCare BeSMART facility means that Recovery Care can provide a 100% telemedicine solution to all residents of Tennessee who suffer from opioid addiction. All you need is a valid driver’s license or state ID with a Tennessee address.

How does Addiction Telemedicine with an Online Suboxone Doctor Work?

To be a fully-licensed online Suboxone clinic, Recovery Care had to develop a proprietary telemedicine program that is both simple and fully-compliant with all state and federal regulations. That means you’ll receive the highest level of addiction treatment possible, without the need to ever visit one of our clinics. And, Recovery Care’s mobile app allows you to perform video appointments most anywhere you have a high-speed internet connection.

How Do Online Suboxone Appointments Work?

After you register and perform a brief phone interview with one of our staff, you will download our mobile app. At appointment time you’ll do the following:

  • Be in a quiet place either in or near a private restroom
  • Make sure you’re connected to high-speed internet.  (Pay-by-the-minute cell phone plans will not work)
  • Open the Spruce Health mobile app
  • Check-in by sending us a brief message
  • We’ll check you in and guide you through your online Suboxone appointment

Getting Started with Recovery Care’s Online Suboxone Doctors

Getting started in Recovery Care’s TennCare Telemedicine Suboxone Program is easy. Same-day appointments are available to new patients most weekday’s if registered before Noon.

  • Register online
  • A brief phone interview will take place
  • Your appointment is scheduled  (typically same-day)
  • You’ll visit with both a Suboxone doctor and a licensed counselor  (one-on-one)
  • Your next visit is scheduled
  • A telemedicine drug screening kit will be shipped to you
  • Your Suboxone prescription is sent electronically to your local pharmacy the same day as your appointment.
(Next-day medication delivery is also available!)

The State of Tennessee requires weekly telemedicine visits for the first five weeks of therapy. Your doctor will then decide the frequency of your visits. Your individual recovery progress and adherence to the program guidelines will ultimately determine your visit frequency.

Your Subsequent Visits with Our Online Suboxone Doctors

You will receive a drug screening kit by mail shortly after your first visit. You will be drug screened at each subsequent visit to make sure you’re following program guidelines.

  • You’ll check-in using our mobile app
  • A drug screen will be performed
  • Visit with a therapist  (one-on-one)
  • Visit with a Suboxone doctor
  • Your next visit will be scheduled
  • You will put your completed drug screen into a USPS blue box within 24-hours of your visit
  • Your Suboxone prescription is again sent electronically to your local pharmacy or shipped to you the following day.

Will I Ever Have to Come to a Recovery Care Clinic?

Ultimately, this is up to you. If you follow Recovery Care’s TennCare Suboxone Telemedicine Program guidelines, then you will never need to visit one of our clinic locations. However, there are circumstances when a patient is required to come to a Recovery Care facility as a result of not following program guidelines. Here are just a few reasons why a patient may be asked to visit a Recovery Care Suboxone clinic in-person:

  • You fail to put your completed drug screen into a USPS blue box within 24-hours of your online Suboxone appointment
  • You’re not taking your Suboxone as prescribed by our online Suboxone doctors
  • You miss appointments
  • Illicit substances are found in your drug screenings
  • You are unable to perform video appointments due to a weak or inadequate internet connection

What Happens if I show Up Late for Appointments?

We understand that life sometimes happens, causing delays and/or interruptions in our busy schedules. Communication is the key! Please let us know in advance if you are unable to attend your visit or if you require a different appointment date or time. Our team will always do their very best to ensure you are seen same-day, even if you’re late for your appointment. Our goal is always to reward those patients who show-up on-time / ready for their appointments with express service. Patients who show up late may experience delays.

Here’s how late appointment check-in’s are handled:

  • Less than 15-Minutes Late – Your appointment will be performed as scheduled.
  • Over 15-Minutes Late – You will be placed on standby and seen as soon as possible, but will likely experience delays.

Will my cigna insurance pay for every thing except for the prescription

      • Michael Stevens on April 29, 2024 at 6:17 pm

Hi Chris. Here’s some possible good news: Though Cigna is not as widely accepted as some insurance providers, they have an excellent track record of reimbursing patients for all or part of their visit costs. You can call the Cigna customer care line at (800) 997-1654 and ask about your plan.
If they are willing to reimburse you:
        1. Go to the clinic of your choosing and pay out of pocket for your visit.
        2. Get a receipt for your visit (at every visit).
        3. Click this link and fill in the Cigna reimbursement form: https://www.cigna.com/static/www-cigna-com/docs/medicare/resources/medical-reimbursement-claim-form.pdf
        4. Fax your appointment receipts along with the Cigna reimbursement form to: (866) 873-8279.
You should receive a check in the mail.
Best of success in your recovery!
