Rachel Scott, LPC-MHSP, NBCC, is a licensed professional counselor who specializes in trauma, dual diagnosis, and experiential therapies, including EMDR, Internal Family Systems (IFS), and Equine-Assisted Psychotherapy. She holds a Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of the Cumberlands and a Bachelor of Arts in Forensic Psychology from Southern New Hampshire University.
Prior to entering the mental health field, Rachel served as a police officer and domestic violence specialist—experiences that deeply shaped her focus on trauma work. She is also certified in EMDR with a focus on attachment and IFS, and trained in Perceptive Equine Therapy.
Rachel’s approach is strength-based and empowering: she believes every person already holds what they need to heal—they may just need a guide. When not in session, she enjoys training and riding horses, as well as performing as a singer-songwriter with a local classic rock band.
