We Know What It's Like to Be Addicted to Opioids

We know exactly what it's like to struggle with opioid addiction because we've lived it. We also know what it's like to overcome opioid addiction by utilizing Suboxone doctors, counseling, and taking advice from those who came before us because we've lived that, too.

We Are in Recovery

We know exactly what it feels like to chase pills, experience weeks of opioid withdrawal, miss out on family events, relapse repeatedly, and hurt the ones we love with behaviors even we couldn't understand. We believe that only someone who's personally experienced the pitfalls and hardships of opioid addiction can genuinely serve those who seek help from the grips of narcotic addiction.

People who are addicted to opioids are not bad people trying to be good; They're sick people who are trying to get well.

When we say, "We can't wait to meet you," it's not some fancy marketing ploy. We sincerely get excited every time a new client contacts us because we know exactly what can happen if they engage in our program—they'll transform their lives.

We have the pleasure, privilege, and honor of assisting people from feeling their worst to becoming their best. There's nothing else like it in the world.

We've lost family and friends to drug addiction. We know what the worst days of living with opioid addiction are like. We also know what it means to live our best days while being clean and sober. We've lived with the feelings of failure that come with relapse and the sense of pride and accomplishment that come with getting back on track with our recovery.

We know what it means to feel hopeless, out of options, and feeling sick and tired of feeling sick and tired all the time. We also know what it's like to triumph over opioid addiction and to change our lives for the best.

We know a little bit about helping people who are addicted to opioids, and we're going to help as many people as possible throughout the State of Tennessee using our Virtual Suboxone Program.

If you really want to get clean and put an end to your opioid addiction once and for all, you will need to make some changes.  But don't worry, we'll help you every step of the way. Opioid addiction isn't a choice, it's a disease. Treating opioid addiction with telemedicine, Suboxone, and counseling moves the odds in your favor by changing your focus away from chasing drugs and counting pills to feeling normal, much like the way you felt before you became addicted.

Taking Suboxone virtually eliminates painful withdrawals and powerful cravings, providing the physical calm and mental clarity needed to engage in therapy. Therapy is where you'll delve into the reasons you started taking drugs in the first place and develop a personal treatment plan to help you overcome them.

We will treat you with kindness and respect while providing simple boundaries that serve you best. We'll give you our heart and soul via unparalleled personal support every step of the way.

The Suboxone Clinic Near You No Matter Where You Live in Tennessee

Recovery Care's Suboxone clinic operates under a unique "virtual" medical license that allows anyone in Tennessee to undergo Suboxone treatment without ever visiting our clinic. Recovery Care and its partnering clinic, Nashville Addiction Clinic are the first two clinics in the State of Tennessee to receive these special virtual office-based opioid treatment licenses. Both clinics have been awarded the coveted TennCare BeSMART certification and are currently in the process of becoming acredited.

How Do You Spell Suboxone, Anyway?

We've seen Suboxone clinic spelled as soboxone clinic, suboxene clinic, suboxne clinic, suboxine clinic, and many other ways. No matter how you spell Suboxone, know that it is both a life-changing and life-saving miracle drug. The Suboxone brand name is a registered trademark for the combination of buprenorphine and naloxone drugs that work in tandem to help eliminate opioid withdrawals and prevent cravings.

Just like a diabetic needs insulin to feel and operate normally, many who suffer from opioid addiction use Suboxone to feel and operate normally. Suboxone is used to transition those who are addicted to prescription pain pills, heroin, fentanyl, and other opiates and opioids. After making a brief transition from these drugs, Suboxone helps eliminate opioid withdrawal and cravings, helping the person feel normal again.

Like most drugs, there are money-saving generic versions of Suboxone available that can save someone over $300 per month who is without prescription coverage. Generic Suboxone is available as a sublingual film and a sublingual tablet. "Sublingual" simply means "to dissolve under the tongue". Sublingual is the fastest and most effective way to administer Suboxone, allowing it to activate and possibly provide substantial relief from opioid withdrawals and cravings in a matter of minutes.

One of our clinic owners noted that he transitioned from miserable opioid withdrawals and cravings to feeling almost entirely normal in less time than it took to eat a hamburger:

"January 9, 2014, is a significant date for me in many ways. I left my very first Suboxone clinic visit with little hope that my life was ever going to change. I had abused prescription pain pills for almost 14 years and had relapsed six times in a matter of weeks following the completion of an inpatient treatment program. I felt completely hopeless.

I filled my Suboxone prescription, placed a film under my tongue, and went to eat lunch at a local burger joint. I was halfway through my meal when I noticed my legs had stopped shaking. In a matter of minutes, I realized my overall physical and mental state had completely changed. I felt normal for the first time in almost 14 years.

Thanks to Suboxone, I have been clean and sober since January 9, 2014. I consider Suboxone a miracle drug that saved my life. Suboxone saved my life, counseling changed my life. Without it, I don't believe I would be alive today."

We Treat You the Way We Expect to Be Treated

Our goal for your online addiction treatment experience is to ensure you are treated with kindness and respect while receiving the highest level of medical and therapeutic care possible. Our master's degree-level counselors do this by carefully establishing a relationship with each patient and creating a treatment plan unique to them.

Only by getting to know their family dynamics, traumas, current living conditions, and unique circumstances can a truly effective treatment plan be created.

We then provide specialized treatments, including private counseling and psychological care, as well as medication-assisted treatment using Suboxone and its generic counterparts.

Our priority is to help each patient transition from their drug of choice into a stabilized Suboxone maintenance program while providing individualized therapy programs where patients identify and resolve traumas that have motivated their unwanted drug use and abuse.

Is Relapse Expected in Addiction Treatment?

While relapse doesn't have to occur, it can and does happen. Rather than penalizing those who relapse, Recovery Care has proven and effective methods for coping with relapse when it does occur. By implementing a higher level of care, patients are able to recognize and correct old behaviors and get back on track with their recovery program.

Telemedicine Addiction Treatment that Transforms Lives
Stopping your drug use is merely the first step in overcoming opioid addiction. Learning new thought processes and practicing better self-care play a role in the quality of your recovery and quality of life. Our mission is to provide the tools and support needed to help people transform their lives.

We can't wait to meet you!

Suboxone has become the standard drug used for medication-assisted treatment (MAT), combining two potentially life-saving medications to ease the process of weaning off opiates for people addicted to these harmful substances. Suboxone is made up of two key ingredients: Buprenorphine and Naloxone.

Buprenorphine is a partial opioid agonist. It activates opioid receptors but only partially, reducing cravings and withdrawal symptoms without producing the same "high" as full opioids. It has a "ceiling effect" that creates a plateau at higher doses, lowering the risk of overdose and misuse. Buprenorphine is long-acting; it stays in the body for a prolonged period, helping with opioid dependence treatment.

Naloxone works as a safety mechanism when used in conjunction with buprenorphine. Sublingually, it has a low absorption rate and doesn't interfere with buprenorphine’s effects. However, if someone tries to inject or snort buprenorphine/naloxone, the naloxone is absorbed much more efficiently, blocking opioid effects and potentially triggering withdrawal symptoms.

Online medication discount coupon services like GoodRX.com offer substantial discounts on many generic versions of Suboxone at the most common pharmacies in Tennessee, such as Walgreens, CVS, Publix, Kroger, Sam's Club, and many others. Sublingual films and tablets are available that provide the same relief from withdrawals and cravings at a fraction of the cost.

Addicted to Opioids? Put an End to Your Addiction Today.

MAT, or "Medication-Assisted Treatment" has become the #1 medical solution for treating opioid use disorder in the United States and abroad.

Most families are now familiar with addiction since it has become a national epidemic. Rare is it that someone is not touched by opioid addiction in one way or another. Whether it be a friend, family member, or even yourself, opioid addiction quickly ruins lives, families, careers, and can lead to death if not properly treated.

Why Do People Get Addicted?
Often, what starts as a mild prescription for pain relief due to surgery, dental procedure, or other need for pain relief, most everyone is susceptible to becoming addicted. Narcotic pain relievers (oxycodone, OxyContin, Opana, Percocet, hydrocodone, etc) have become commonplace on the street as the drug of choice to many, often leading to heroin use due to heroin's low cost and high accessibility. Sadly, fentanyl, a drug one hundred times more powerful than morphine, is now commonly "laced" into heroin to reduce the cost and amplify its effects.

Addiction is No Different than Diabetes - Addiction is a Disease
Addiction is now considered and treated as a disease, just like diabetes. Like a diabetic needs insulin to remain healthy, many people who get addicted to opioids struggle to feel "normal" without something in their system that mimics an opioid. This is where Suboxone comes in. Suboxone delivers very long-lasting medication (buprenorphine) to the opioid receptors in the brain, alleviating withdrawal symptoms and virtually eliminating cravings. Its long half-life helps not only with virtually eliminating withdrawals and cravings but also as a blocking agent, helping curb the effectiveness of other opioids if taken. Suboxone is commonly used as a maintenance solution to ensure long-lasting sobriety.

There is No Demographic for Opioid Addiction
Addiction used to be stereotyped as a "choice". Many people envisioned those addicted as being homeless and living under a bridge. This is simply not reality. Opioid addiction has no boundaries or demographics. Anyone, regardless of their background, upbringing, wealth, affluence, social status, or education, can become addicted to opioids.

Addiction is a Disease, Not a Moral Issue
Some people still believe getting addicted to opioids is a choice or lack of willpower, often asking the addicted person, "Why can't you just make the decision to stop?" Sadly, quitting opioid use (prescription painkillers, fentanyl, heroin) abruptly is very difficult to do. Painful withdrawals and powerful cravings can motivate a person to do things they never thought they were capable of. It's like being hijacked by your brain, telling you to do whatever is necessary to avoid withdrawal.

Recovery Care of Columbia can help put an end to the insanity caused by opioid addiction. Not only do people in our program get substantial relief from withdrawals and cravings, but friends, family, and coworkers also benefit when anytime someone is freed from the grips of opioid addiction.

We Accept Most Health Insurance Plans so you can focus on your sobriety instead of worrying about how to pay for it.
